SEKISUI SPI Announces Advanced Polymer Business Manager, Mike Angell
The growth of the global middle class has prompted SEKISUI SPI to invest even more in their people, products, and process to provide for the population—and traveling—boom. Promotions, new equipment, and technology have abounded at the thermoplastics manufacturer over the past few years to align SEKISUI SPI’s mission to give customers more than they can imagine.
Former Plant Manager at the Holland, MI campus, Mike Angell has been promoted to Advanced Polymer Business Manager. Angell will continue to assess how SEKISUI SPI can bring more value to customers while exploring new products and markets for advanced polymer products. He will work closely with vendors, R&D, and appLab™ as part of the Sales team.
“My experience and knowledge of our equipment, people, and products make this new position a great fit for what I’d like to do for SEKISUI SPI’s vision,” said Angell.
His background in resins, sales, marketing, and production processes at SEKISUI SPI align with the strategic internal and external goals of SEKISUI SPI.
“Using unique, innovative solutions to fit the needs of emerging markets and customers in the autonomous vehicle and OEM industries is my goal,” said Angell when asked about his new position.
SEKISUI SPI will continue their focus on innovating specialized polymers used in global industries focused on the growing middle class with help from the Sales team, including Angell. By manufacturing specialized polymers with incredibly short lead times in ridiculously small quantities through their Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM) model, the thermoplastics manufacturer is set to achieve their goal of delivering more than their customers can imagine.
